” What would you be prepared to do for what you desire?”
The gamble of The Place, the last movie by Paolo Genovese, transposition of the TV series The Booth at The End, centers around this question. Everything takes place in a single place, an unidentified bar, inside which a mysterious man is ready to fulfill the wishes of eight visitors, to which it assigns, in change, often terrible tasks.

Genovese chooses a dramatic register for this investigation of the most obscure part of human beings who find themselves dealing with their own demons.

A pièce, straight entirely from his actors that detach for interpretation inside this not-place.
The internal search of the protagonists of the film becomes mirror of the desolation of the today

The same attention to research, with an eye to experimentation, typical of the Genovese cinema is an inspiration that is always present in the Alpha Studio collections in which the sartorial tradition is combined with textile innovation.
